President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff in Sumy Oblast to discuss the oblast’s preparation for winter.

Details: Zelenskyy said that the main issue discussed at the Staff meeting was the protection of infrastructure and energy in Sumy Oblast with the help of air defence systems.

The President was briefed by Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, representatives of the Air Force, the Shkid (East) Command, and representatives of state-owned energy companies and "heads of all levels of the vertical between the Government and communities".

Quote: "We have decisions to support the region, and more separate meetings will be held on the energy sector of Sumy and our other border oblasts. Before winter, the most important thing is a resilience reserve."

More details: According to the President, Syrskyi reported the situation on the frontline – Donetsk fronts, Kharkiv Oblast, the south of the country, the border, the Kursk operation.
