Details: Yoon Suk-yeol shared the plan during a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who confirmed that North Korean troops were present in Russia's Kursk Oblast, where Ukrainian forces are currently conducting an operation.
The South Korean president announced that the South Korean delegation will conduct a briefing for the EU's Political and Security Committee on Tuesday before visiting Ukraine to meet with intelligence and defence officials to exchange battlefield information and discuss potential cooperation.
Yoon Suk-yeol stressed that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea, which he called illegal, undermines "the rules-based international order and poses a threat to peace on the Korean Peninsula and globally".
