Details: On 28 October, two draft legislative documents based on Zelenskyy's suggestion were introduced in the parliament. The President suggests extending mobilisation and martial law for 90 days.

Specifically, draft bill No. 12151 wants to accept the presidential proclamation extending martial law from 10 November, 2024 to 7 February, 2025.

Draft No. 12152 suggests passing a decree authorising the continuance of general mobilisation.

On the president's proposal, the Verkhovna Rada has been regularly extending martial law and general mobilisation in Ukraine since February 2022. Thus, martial law and mobilisation will have lasted in Ukraine for almost three years – since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion.
