Number of casualties in Russian strike on Kharkiv rises to 21, including five children – photos

A large-scale nighttime Russian attacked the Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, as well as attacked Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Oblast with Tornado-S MLRS, has left 21 people injured, including five children.

Quote: "In the evening and at night, the enemy struck the Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv, as well as the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Oblast. Destruction and damage has been caused to residential infrastructure."

Details: It is noted that search and rescue operations are ongoing in the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv. The mayor of the city said that seven people had been injured, including a 16-year-old girl. The Russians also damaged the floor slab between the seventh and eighth floors and destroyed three apartments.

Terekhov also reported three people injured in Saltivskyi district and three in Shevchenkivskyi district. 

Later, Syniehubov noted that an outbuilding in Chuhuiv was on fire as a result of the air strike. Eight people have been injured, including five children. All of them refused to be taken to hospital.

Updated: At 09:29, Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the Russians had hit the garden of a house in the city’s Saltivskyi district. Two men, aged 63 and 77, and a 76-year-old woman were injured. They were suffering from stress reactions. A hotel, outbuildings and residential buildings were damaged.

The Russians also attacked residential houses in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district. A 51-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were injured, and a 62-year-old woman suffered a stress reaction.

Also, the Russians fired at Kharkiv with a FAB-250 UMPB (unified multi-purpose glide bomb) from Belgorod Oblast in the Russian Federation.

In addition, investigators have determined that the city of Chuhuiv was attacked with a Tornado-S MLRS. Eight people were injured there, including four boys aged 1, 6, 10 and 12. The children were diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. The Russians also damaged several homes and outbuildings.
