Russia loses 1,680 soldiers and 51 artillery systems in one day

Russia has lost 1,680 soldiers killed and wounded, seven tanks, 51 artillery systems and 40 armoured combat vehicles over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 28 October 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 690,720 (+1,680) military personnel;
• 9,120 (+7) tanks;
• 18,395 (+40) armoured combat vehicles;
• 19,872 (+51) artillery systems;
• 1,240 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 984 (+0) air defence systems;
• 369 (+0) aircraft;
• 329 (+0) helicopters;
• 17,867 (+68) tactical and strategic UAVs;
• 2,625 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships/boats;
• 1 (+0) submarine;
• 27,660 (+100) vehicles and fuel tankers;
• 3,556 (+14) special vehicles and other equipment.
