Ukraine's defence forces liberate and mop up Kruhliakivka village in Kharkiv Oblast – Defence Intelligence of Ukraine

The defence forces of Ukraine have liberated and carried out a mop-up operation in the village of Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv Oblast.

Quote: "The soldiers of Bratstvo (Brotherhood) unit within the Tymur special operations unit of DIU, with the support of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, liberated and mopped up the village of Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk district from Russian occupiers. 

The operation to regain control over the settlement, which is important for the defence of Kupiansk, lasted from 7 to 14 October 2024."

Details: The soldiers said that the Russians lost more than an infantry platoon in Kruhliakivka – they were destroyed in close combat. The Russian soldiers were also taken prisoner.

Quote: "As a result of the operation, the enemy was driven out of the settlement, and the routes of movement of the occupiers were mined."
