Denmark announces new €320 million military aid package for Ukraine
The Danish government has prepared its 21st military aid package for Ukraine, amounting to DKK 2.4 billion (approximately €321.8 million), which will include both supplies from Denmark's military stockpiles and orders from international suppliers.

Details: The new package will provide weapons from Denmark's military reserves, funding for air defence systems in cooperation with Germany and additional contributions to the UK-led International Fund for Ukraine.
Additional funds will be allocated for expanding training programmes for Ukrainian soldiers.
Quote: "The 21st aid package is designed to provide as much military support as possible to meet Ukraine’s urgent needs while also supporting Denmark’s ambition to help build Ukraine’s long-term defence capabilities," said Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
He also noted that the Danish government is working on the possibility of purchasing weapons, including drones, directly from Ukrainian manufacturers.
The funding is subject to approval by Denmark's parliamentary finance committee.
Background:
- Between 2023 and 2028, Denmark has pledged DKK 64.8 billion for military support to Ukraine through its special Ukraine Fund. Of this, more than DKK 48 billion have already been spent or earmarked.
- In April, the Danish government approved an additional DKK 4.4 billion for military aid to Ukraine in 2024.
