Ukrainian and Russian forces clash 189 times across war zone over past 24 hours, 3 fronts see most fighting – Ukraine's General Staff
Ukrainian and Russian forces have clashed 189 times throughout the war zone since the beginning of the day on 14 October. The situation was the most intense on the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk and Lyman fronts.

Quote: "Russian invaders launched a missile strike and 38 airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 67 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they employed over 400 kamikaze drones and targeted the positions of our troops and populated areas over 2,250 times."
Details: On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces mounted two assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Tykhe, but to no avail.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted offensive actions near the settlements of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka, Kolisnykivka, Holubivka, Petropavlivka, Lozova and Vyshneve.
On the Lyman front, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 31 times near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka, Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Yampolivka, Torske and Zarichne.
On the Siversk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attacks near the village of Verkhnokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Dyliivka.
On the Toretsk front, three combat engagements took place. The Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Russian soldiers launched 38 attacks near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Selydove, Hrodivka, Novotroitske and Novopavlivka since the beginning of the day.
On the Kurakhove front, Russian forces mounted 50 attempts to break through Ukrainian defences near the settlements of Izmailivka, Hirnyk, Zoriane, Kurakhivka, Tsukuryne, Novodmytrivka, Novoselydivka, Antonivka, Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka, Heorhiivka and Vodiane.
The Russians conducted no offensive actions on the Vremivka and Huliaipole fronts but did carry out airstrikes on the settlements of Novodarivka and Shakhtarske.
On the Orikhove front, the Russians stormed Ukrainian positions twice near the settlements of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians are pursuing their attempts to drive Ukrainian troops from their positions. Russian forces have made eight unsuccessful attacks over the past 24 hours.
The Ukrainian operation in Russia's Kursk Oblast continues. Russian aircraft are continuing to strike Russian villages and towns with guided aerial bombs.
