Ukraine's Foreign Ministry responds to Jared Leto's comments on "feeling Russian energy" and concerts in Russia – video

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has called the words of Jared Leto, frontman of American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, regarding performing concerts in Russia and Ukraine when "these problems" [the Russo-Ukrainian war – ed.] have ended, an insult to those who are sacrificing their lives for freedom.

Details: The ministry also added that there can be no appeasement of Russia while it continues to solve the "problem" of Ukraine's existence by all means.

• Earlier, Jared Leto said during one of his concerts in Belgrade that he wanted to go to St Petersburg and Moscow.
• Before the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Jared Leto often came to Kyiv. For example, in 2019, he sang on a pedestrian bridge in the capital.
