Russia loses another 1,260 soldiers over one day

The General Staff has reported that Russia has lost more than 670,000 soldiers killed and wounded since the start of the full-scale invasion, while the Ukrainian defence forces have destroyed over 19,400 artillery systems, over 17,800 armoured personnel carriers and 8,975 tanks.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 14 October 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- approximately 670,190 (+1,260) military personnel;
- 8,975 (+5) tanks;
- 17,895 (+19) armoured combat vehicles;
- 19,421 (+11) artillery systems;
- 1,231 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 978 (+0) air defence systems;
- 369 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 329 (+0) helicopters;
- 17,009 (+17) strategic and tactical UAVs;
- 2,619 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 28 (+0) ships/boats;
- 1 (+0) submarine;
- 26,622 (+38) vehicles and tankers;
- 3,437 (+2) special vehicles and other equipment.
