Russians launch several waves of UAVs against Kyiv: air defence destroyed all drones on approaches to capital

Kyiv City Military Administration has reported the fifth attack of Russian drones on the capital since the beginning of September. Air defence forces destroyed all the UAVs that posed a threat to Kyiv.

Overnight, the Russian military again used attack UAVs, presumably Shaheds, launched from Kursk Oblast.

Loitering munitions were coming at Kyiv after midnight, in several waves."

Details: Popko gave details that the air-raid warning in the capital had been in effect for over an hour.

He said that all Russian attack drones that posed a threat to Kyiv were destroyed by air defence forces and assets on the outskirts of the capital.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no damages or casualties in the city.
