Russians strike civilian infrastructure of Sumy Oblast, injuring civilians, including teen

Russian forces struck the civilian infrastructure of Sumy hromada on 8 September, injuring a man and a teenager. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: "On 8 September 2024 at about 12:50, deploying the methods of warfare forbidden by international law, the enemy struck the civilian infrastructure of Sumy hromada.

As a result of the Russian attack a 35-year-old civilian man and a 14-year-old boy have been injured.

A local store has also been damaged."
