Government reset: Servant of the People holds meeting on new candidates for ministerial posts

On 4 September, the Servant of the People faction met to discuss the government "reset".

Details: Following the meeting, it was revealed that:

Iryna Vereshchuk will join the President's Office to work on social policy. The Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, which was previously a separate organisation, will be abolished and its functions transferred to Ukraine's Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.

Olha Stefanishyna will be appointed Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Minister of Justice.

Oleksandr Kamyshin will become a presidential adviser on strategic industries, with Herman Smetanin, the current head of Ukroboronprom (a strategic manufacturer of weapons and military hardware in Ukraine), taking his place in the cabinet.

Dmytro Kuleba will be replaced as Minister of Foreign Affairs by his current first deputy, Andrii Sybiha.

Svitlana Hrynchuk, currently a Deputy Energy Minister, will be appointed Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, replacing Ruslan Strilets.

Matvii Bidnyi will be appointed Minister of Youth and Sports in Ukraine.

Vitalii Koval, currently the chairman of the State Property Fund, will lead the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

Mykola Tochytskyi will be the Minister of Culture and Information Policy.

Nataliia Kalmykova, currently a Deputy Defence Minister, will be appointed Minister of Veterans' Affairs.

Oleksii Kuleba will be named Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development. The ministry is set to be split in the near future.

Update: Arakhamiia later confirmed the information regarding the appointments and reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had been present at the meeting. 

Iryna Vereshchuk reported that she will take up the post of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
