Israel kills another Hezbollah commander, destroying almost all of their leadership

Senior military commander Ali Karaki was killed amid extensive Israeli airstrikes on Dahiya, which also claimed the life of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, as said in a statement released by Hezbollah.

Details: Karaki was in charge of the southern front of Hezbollah. On 23 September, there was an unsuccessful attempt to kill him.

Hezbollah reported Karaki's death, adding that he was "directly and on the ground responsible for leading the southern front with all its axes and units in the support front from 8 October, 2023, until his blessed martyrdom".

According to The Guardian, Israel killed several military officers, including Karaki, "leaving Hezbollah’s senior military leadership almost completely wiped out".
