Quote from Vinnik: "Esteemed officers, sergeants, soldiers!

From the summer of 2022 to today, I have had a long and uneasy journey. But it was not difficult because I did not overcome it alone. I had a loyal and motivated team by my side.

I thank each and every one of you for your patience, willpower and strength. Thank you for listening, hearing, talking and offering suggestions. Thank you for our joint struggle. Thank you for being by my side. I really appreciate it!

I am honoured to be a part of the Black Cossacks, and the bond that has been formed between us will remain forever.

Learn. Fight. Do not give up and walk confidently towards our Victory."

Details: The situation in Vuhledar is currently critical.

Last week, Operational Command Pivnich (North) wrote that Vinnik had been appointed to a higher position "for the purpose of promotion and to transfer combat experience".

They noted that Vinnik is an example of a true and honest combat officer, an experienced and humane commander.

Quote from the Operational Command: "Under his leadership, the brigade’s path was full of difficulties, but it has held the defence lines it has been assigned with dignity.

First, there was Bakhmut, then Vuhledar, where in January-February 2023, the brigade was able to repel one of the largest offensives during the Russian-Ukrainian war."

Background: Ruslan Mykula, co-founder of the DeepState analytical project, suggests that the fall of the city of Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast – where Ukrainian forces have been resisting the Russian offensive for over two years – is imminent, possibly within weeks or days.
