Denmark to supply Ukraine with €16 million for restoring energy system
The Danish government will provide 130 million crowns (over €16 million) for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system, which is constantly attacked by the Russians.

Details: Denmark’s new contribution to the support of the Ukrainian power system is one its largest ones. It was announced during the meeting within the G7 workgroup for Ukraine’s energy security.
"Putin’s army does not only violate Ukrainian borders, Russia violates the rules of war by launching its large-scale attacks on the Ukrainian electric and heat supply systems," Aagaard said.
The Danish assistance is funded within the programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and will, among other things, facilitate the implementation of emergency measures and procurement of equipment and spare parts to support the restoration of a secure supply of energy.
In April 2024 Ukraine and Denmark signed a memorandum for over €400 million of support for rebuilding Ukraine’s power infrastructure.
Copenhagen also announced €5 million for the restoration of the Ukrainian power system after Russian large-scale attacks on the infrastructure.
