Fierce fighting rages on Kurakhove front – Ukraine's General Staff
Fierce fighting rages on the Kurakhove front in Donetsk Oblast on Thursday, 19 September. Combat engagements are taking place near the settlements of Tsukuryne, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 13 out of 36 Russian assaults.

Quote: "The frontline situation is marked by heightened enemy activity on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove fronts, where they are deploying all available military assets and personnel to accomplish their objectives."
Details: Meanwhile, the General Staff emphasises that Ukrainian defenders are preventing Russian plans from being implemented.
A total of 95 combat engagements took place throughout the war zone since the beginning of 19 September.
The Russians targeted settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts over the past 24 hours.
Russian forces also launched 11 airstrikes on the territory of Russia's Kursk Oblast, using 14 guided aerial bombs.
Fighting is taking place on the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremivka, Orikhove and Prydniprovske fronts.
