Ukrainian boxer Usyk arrested at Krakow airport – video

WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) has been arrested at the airport in Krakow.

Details: The circumstances of the arrest are being investigated, Beleniuk said.

Kateryna Usyk, the boxer's wife, also commented on her husband's detention on her Instagram account.

"Everything is fine, everything is okay. Oleksandr will explain everything later. Nothing criminal happened," Kateryna posted.

In turn, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi told Ukrainska Pravda that the consul general had already left for Krakow airport to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
