Radosław Sikorski, Foreign Minister of Poland, stated that Warsaw might give Ukraine more MiG-29 aircraft, but it would depend on whether it has the means to defend its own airspace.

Details: Ukraine has received "approximately 400 tanks" from Poland, some of which are also involved in hostilities in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, as well as Krab howitzers and Piorun launchers, Sikorski says.
Quote: "And I heard with great pleasure that our equipment, which is produced in Poland, showed great results," he added.
The Polish foreign minister confirmed that Warsaw is also considering "the possibility of transferring the next batch of equipment and, possibly, also MіG-29 aircraft, which are needed today to protect our sky."
He pointed out that if Ukraine’s allies can help with patrolling Polish airspace, this will allow "to fulfil this promise", but did not offer any specifics.
Background:
- In July, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Poland might consider transferring additional Soviet-model fighters to Ukraine if it could find a replacement with its partners.
- Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz later rejected Volodymyr Zelenskyy's calls to accelerate the transfer of MiG-29s to Ukraine, reiterating the sentiment.
