Ukraine now has the world's highest mortality rate and the lowest birth rate.

Details: According to the CIA’s data, Ukraine's death rate is currently 18.6 per 1,000 inhabitants, the highest in the world. Lithuania comes second, with a mortality rate of 15.02 fatalities per 1,000 people. Serbia ranks third, with 14.9 deaths per 1,000 people.
Qatar, on the contrary, has the lowest mortality rate, with 1.4 deaths per 1,000 inhabitants.
Ukraine has the lowest birth rate, with only 6 births per 1,000 people. The French territories of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon hold the penultimate position in terms of birth rate, with 6.4 births per 1,000 people.
Niger has the world's highest birth rate, with 46.6 births per 1,000 inhabitants.
Ukraine’s mortality rate in 2024 will be three times that of its birth rate. The majority of newborns and fatalities have been recorded in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Kyiv.
