Russia loses 1,220 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost more than a thousand soldiers killed and wounded and more than 270 pieces of equipment over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 13 September 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 631,420 (+1,220) military personnel;
• 8,671 (+18) tanks;
• 17,003 (+48) armoured combat vehicles;
• 18,061 (+52) artillery systems;
• 1,185 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 945 (+0) air defence systems;
• 369 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 328 (+0) helicopters;
• 15,113 (+80) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,591 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships/boats;
• 1 (+0) submarine;
• 24,560 (+79) vehicles and tankers;
• 3,071 (+10) special vehicles and other equipment.
