Fallen debris from a downed Russian missile caused damage to a car park in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv on the night of 5-6 August 2024.

Details: At the same time, Klitschko clarified that the fallen debris did not cause a fire.
"There were no casualties, and no damage to buildings was found," Klitschko concluded.

- An air-raid warning was issued in a number of Ukraine’s oblasts on the night of 5-6 August. The Russians hit the city of Kyiv with ballistic missiles and also used kamikaze drones.
- In the morning, the Air Force reported that the Russians had bombarded Ukraine with four ballistic missiles, two Kh-59 guided missiles and 16 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian air defence managed to shoot down two ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 15 UAVs.
