Night strike on Kyiv Oblast: no casualties or fires, but houses, petrol stations and facades damaged

All the Russian drones and missiles attacking Kyiv Oblast on the night of 5-6 August have been downed, but damage to an apartment building, an office building, a petrol station and a forester's house has been recorded.

Quote: "The enemy attacked Kyiv Oblast at night using missiles and drones. Air defence was responding in the oblast. Enemy targets were downed. No hits on residential or critical infrastructure were recorded. There were no casualties. Operational services are working at the scenes where the wreckage of the downed enemy targets fell."

Details: The following damage was recorded as of 08:00: windows were broken on the first and second floors of an apartment building where non-residential rooms were located; windows were broken and facades were damaged at two petrol stations; an office building had broken doors, windows and a damaged facade. A forester's house was also damaged by the blast wave.

Kravchenko added that there were no fires at the sites.

All emergency services are continuing to work to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack.
