Russia has lost 1,360 soldiers killed and wounded, 8 tanks and 42 artillery systems over the past day alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 31 August 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]: 

• approximately 614,950 (+1,360) military personnel;
• 8,582 (+8) tanks;
• 16,736 (+14) armoured combat vehicles;
• 17,614 (+42) artillery systems;
• 1,176 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 940 (+1) air defence systems;
• 368 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 328 (+0) helicopters;
• 14,471 (+18) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,557 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 23,825 (+62) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,977 (+10) special vehicles and other equipment.
