On 27 August, Russian troops attacked the town of Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv Oblast, killing a 71-year-old man and injuring eight others. Among them were a 15-year-old boy and his pregnant sister.

Quote from the Prosecutor's Office: "Investigators say that the Russian forces attacked the town of Bohodukhiv on 27 August at around 09:30. One of the strikes was near a bus stop. A 71-year-old man was killed. Three men, a woman, a 15-year-old boy and his pregnant sister were injured."
Details: The Russians also hit an industrial facility and damaged private houses, outbuildings and cars. Early reports suggest that the Russians struck the settlement from a Russian Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher system.
Law enforcers launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
Update: Later the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that eight people had been injured in the attack. Three of them were hospitalised. Law enforcement officials said that the Russians struck the city with cluster munitions from the Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket system.
