Russians attack most intensely on Pokrovsk front, where 60 of 170 clashes occurred
A total of 170 combat clashes have occurred over the past day (26 August), with most of them on the Pokrovsk front, where the Russians conducted 60 assault actions.

Quote: "On the Pokrovsk front, our defenders repelled 60 assault attempts near the settlements of Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Panteleimonivka, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Memryk, Mykhailivka and Karlivka.
Ukrainian defenders are doing everything possible to maintain their defence lines and positions, inflicting significant losses on the enemy."
Details: Over the past day, a total of 170 combat clashes have been recorded on the front.
Ukraine’s Air Force and units from Rocket Forces and Artillery struck 16 clusters of Russian military personnel, a UAV command post, a ZooPark radar system, two ammunition storage points, an artillery system and one more important Russian target.
On the Kharkiv front, the Russians continued offensive actions. Three combat clashes occurred near the city of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk front, 16 attacks occurred over the day. Ukrainian forces repelled Russian assault actions near the settlements of Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 Russian attacks near the settlements of Makiivka, Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Nevske, Novosadove and Torske.
On the Siversk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 7 Russian assaults near the settlements of Spirne, Verkhnokamianske and Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian soldiers stopped five Russian attempts to break through defences near the city of Chasiv Yar.
On the Toretsk front, the Russians conducted 15 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk and New-York.
On the Kurakhove front, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka, where the Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defences 18 times.
On the Vremivka front, the Russians conducted 22 assault attempts towards the settlements of Vodiane, Vuhledar and near Prechystivka, actively using armoured vehicles during these assaults.
On the Orikhiv front, the Russians did not conduct active offensive actions.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians conducted four unsuccessful attempts to push Ukrainian forces out of their positions.
On 26 August, the Russians launched three missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, using 129 missiles, 81 airstrikes and 116 guided bombs, and they fired over 4,500 times, including 156 rockets from multiple-launch rocket systems.
