Ukrainian soldier and actor Andrii Kasianov killed in action
Andrii Kasianov, an actor at the Shevchenko Theatre in the city of Dnipro, has been killed defending Ukraine. He was 27.

Details: "Today, the team at the Taras Shevchenko National Theatre of Dnipro are in deep sorrow. An immense grief has united us all – Andrii Kasianov, an actor at our theatre, has been killed in battle with the enemy," the theatre wrote.
The deceased is remembered as "a talented artist, a kind and sincere person, and a brave defender of our state".
"The announcement of Andrii's death has shocked our entire theatre family. We remember and will remember him as the most wonderful person... Sincere gratitude, boundless respect and eternal memory to you, Andrii! We remember you as a man of strong and unconquerable spirit. You gave your life for the sake of our peaceful future in a free and independent Ukraine!" the theatre added.
Film director and writer Iryna Tsilyk responded to the news. "An actor from Dnipro, Andrii Kasianov, has been killed in battle with the enemy. It's so painful. He should have had his whole life ahead of him... Rest in peace," she wrote.
Andrii Kasianov was born on 30 January 1997.
One of the last roles he played was the Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani in the play A Million Red Roses.
