Ukraine's Defence Minister meets UK Defence Staff official to discuss destruction of targets in Russian rear – photo

Rustem Umierov, Ukraine's Minister of Defence, has discussed Ukraine's defence needs with Harvey Smith, the Deputy Head of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom on Military Operations and Strategies.

Quote: "It is crucial that we prevent the accumulation of hostile forces near our land. Equally crucial is the ability to destroy military sites in the Russian Federation's rear with long-range Western weapons. This is almost the only way to protect our people from guided aerial bombs and other enemy strikes."
