I don't just believe we'll liberate Crimea: I know we will – Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, a WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight champion (22-0, 14 KO), is convinced that Ukraine will liberate the occupied peninsula of Crimea.

Quote: "I know this, I don’t just believe it. Believing and knowing are different things. Many years ago I said I would be where I am now, and many people didn’t believe it. Now I’ve decided to avoid speaking affirmatively, but I’ll still do it indirectly. People don’t believe it, but I don’t care. I don’t believe what some people say, because they are not sincere."

Usyk is from the city of Simferopol in Crimea. In an interview recorded long before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Usyk said in response to a question about Crimea that the peninsula belonged to God.
