Ukraine's Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi corvette will perform first voyage in 2026, Türkiye says
The Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi corvette, which is being built in Türkiye for the Ukrainian Navy and was solemnly launched on 1 August, will make its first voyage in 2026.

Details: The warship is scheduled to be delivered to Ukraine in the first quarter of 2027.
"Construction of the second ship within our project began in 2022. This ship will make its first voyage in 2026. The second ship will be handed over to the Ukrainian Navy in the first quarter of 2027," Güleryüz said.
He said that Türkiye's shipbuilding industry has reached the level of both meeting the needs of its own armed forces and assisting allied countries, including the transfer of experience and technology.
"We are proud to produce modern corvettes for Ukraine, a strategic partner of our country... I would like to emphasise that we are always standing with Ukraine, which is going through a difficult process as a state, and we will continue our work to strengthen the Ukrainian Navy," Güleryüz said.
