Part of downed missile falls on nine-storey building in Russian-occupied Sevastopol – photos
Explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of 1-2 August, and an air-raid warning was issued because of a ballistic missile threat there. It became known in the morning that the high explosive part of a missile shot down at night had pierced the roof and got stuck on the technical floor of a nine-storey building on General Ostryakov Avenue in Sevastopol.

Details: Explosions were heard in the cities of Saky, Yevpatoriia, Balaklava, Sevastopol and Simferopol.
Razvozhayev reported a ballistic missile threat in Crimea.
Update: In Russian-occupied Sevastopol, the all-clear was given at around 02:00.
The occupation authorities reported that some pieces of missiles and drones fell in four places and that pieces of a drone even fell on the roof of a house.
Razvozhayev also noted that "more than four" aerial targets had been shot down.
Around 03:00, he noted that the threat of a drone attack would continue throughout the night.
Local Telegram channels cited sources saying the Black Sea Fleet shipyard had been attacked.

Razvozhayev noted that a decision was made to evacuate the area while bomb disposal experts were working to clear the downed missile. The area around the house is cordoned off.
