An employee of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) has been injured in a Russian drone attack on a substation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Details: On 17-18 August, the Russians launched a UAV on a substation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, causing a fire to break out. SES employees had arrived at the scene when the Russians attacked again.

A State Emergency Service employee was injured in the second attack and taken to hospital. The fire at the substation was extinguished.

Over the past day, power engineers have restored power to 5,512 customers who had been left without electricity due to the hostilities. 

A total of 485 villages have no power as of the morning of 18 August because of attacks.
