Ukrainian freestyle wrestler Iryna Koliadenko wins another silver at Paris Olympics

Ukrainian freestyle wrestler Iryna Koliadenko lost to Japanese Sakura Motoki in the women's wrestling final of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Details: Iryna led the way, earning a point for her opponent's inactivity, but at the end of the first period, she missed a rapid attack that gave Motoki 4 points.

After the break, the Ukrainian desperately tried to change the match's course, but Motoki grabbed her leg and performed several successful rolls in a row. The final score of the match was 1:12 in Motoki’s favour.

On her way to the final, the 25-year-old Iryna Koliadenko defeated three world champions of different years.
