Self-proclaimed Belarusian president orders Iskander missile systems and rocket artillery to be sent to border with Ukraine

Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, has ordered the reinforcement of the grouping of forces in the Gomel and Mazyr tactical areas bordering Ukraine's Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts.

Quote from Khrenin: "The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces [i.e. Lukashenko] has given instructions to strengthen the grouping of forces in the Gomel and Mazyr tactical areas.

Special operations forces, ground forces and rocket units, particularly Polonez multiple-launch rocket systems and Iskander missile systems, have been tasked with moving to the designated areas.

Background: Earlier, Lukashenko claimed that "several targets coming from Ukraine" had been shot down over Belarus.
