Large fire breaks out near Kherson because of Russian attacks, entire city covered in smoke

A large fire broke out near the city of Kherson last night because of a Russian attack, igniting an open area outside the city.

Quote: "Due to strong winds, smoke rapidly spread, covering almost all of Kherson.

Firefighters are making every effort to extinguish the fire."  

Details: Authorities emphasised that the situation is complicated by the high likelihood that the areas affected by the fire may still not be cleared of mines.  

Until air quality improves, residents are advised to keep their windows closed and avoid going outside unless necessary. 

People are also urged to drink plenty of water and use protective masks.
