Russia loses 1,160 soldiers and 69 artillery systems in one day

Russian forces have lost about 1,160 soldiers killed and wounded, 69 artillery systems and 82 pieces of equipment over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 10 August 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 589,700 (+1,160) military personnel;
• 8,441 (+7) tanks;
• 16,350 (+9) armoured combat vehicles;
• 16,605 (+69) artillery systems;
• 1,143 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 918 (+2) air defence systems;
• 366 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 327 (+0) helicopters;
• 13,372 (+47) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,425 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 22,453 (+82) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,789 (+20) special vehicles and other equipment.
