Background:
- As a result of the Russian attack on 8 July, two substations on the territory of the Okhmatdyt were destroyed. Power engineers connected the hospital to mobile transformers.
- On the morning of 8 July, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian Tu-95 long-range bombers took off from the Olenya air base.
- The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Russians launched missiles and guided aerial bombs on Ukraine; qn air raid warning was issued throughout Ukraine.
- As a result of the Russian missile attack on 8 July, a building of the National Specialized Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt was struck, people were killed and injured.
