Apartment building attacked in Shevchenkivskyi district: 4 bodies pulled from rubble – video
Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of three more women from the rubble of an apartment building in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district, bringing the number of fatalities at this site to 12. In total, as of 12:15 (local time), 32 people were killed in the capital as a result of the Russian attack on 8 July.

Quote from Klitschko: "Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of two more women from the rubble of an apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. In total, ten residents of this building have been killed."
Details: The mayor added that a search and rescue operation has been ongoing, and a few minutes later said that the body of another woman had been recovered, bringing the total number of people killed in the building to 11.
Earlier it was reported that rescue workers found some parts of the body of another dead person during the rubble removal of an apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. The body of a boy was also found during the nighttime rubble removal in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city.
Later, Serhii Popko, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, said that 31 people were killed and 117 injured in the Russian missile attack on Kyiv as of 12:15.
Background:
- On 8 July, the Russians launched a missile attack on Ukraine. They hit the Okhmatdyt hospital, the private Adonis clinic and residential buildings in Kyiv.
- Two adults, one of them being a doctor, were killed in the attack on Okhmatdyt.
- An entire section of a building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv was destroyed as a result of the strike. As of the afternoon of 8 July, seven people, including three children, were reported killed. Two more people were killed at an industrial facility in Shevchenkivskyi district.
- The Domino business centre was damaged in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, killing seven people.
- A four-storey building of the Adonis clinic was partially destroyed in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, killing nine people.
- As of the evening of 8 July, it was reported that a total of 37 people were killed and 170 wounded as a result of the Russian strike on Ukraine on 8 July.
