Ukraine’s National Resistance Center has noted that in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine’s south, the Russians are threatening to expel those who have not obtained a Russian-issued passport through the checkpoint in Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Quote: "There are people in the occupied territories who, despite the occupation, cannot leave their homes for various reasons. It is these people who are being forcibly passported by the Russians as part of their imperial policy."

Details: The National Resistance Center stressed that the Russians had failed to passport most of the local population and were forced to resort to threats.

In particular, it is reported that during recent raids in the south, residents were promised to be expelled through a checkpoint to Ukraine-controlled territory and have their property seized.

Quote: "The occupiers have used this practice many times before. Local residents are demonstratively taken to the checkpoint and deported from their native land."
