Ukraine's Defence Forces struck at least 4 electric substations in Kursk Oblast in Russia

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that the defence forces of Ukraine recently struck a number of traction electrical substations in Kursk Oblast in Russia, causing disruptions in the power grid.

Quote: "A number of traction electrical substations in Russia’s Kursk Oblast have recently been struck. There is information about the operation of Russian air defence systems in the oblast and explosions in or around at least four substations. As a result, power supply has been disrupted in the Ponirovsky, Kursky and Solntsevsky districts of Kursk Oblast.

The Special Operations Centre A of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) jointly with other units of defence forces carried out the strikes."

Details: Ukraine’s General Staff stresses that Russian industry facilities working for the war against Ukraine are legitimate targets for Ukrainian forces. The aforementioned facilities, among other things, support the operation of the Russian railway which is being used to transport weapons and military equipment to arm the Russian forces.
