Drones attack Russia: substations on fire in Belgorod and Oryol oblasts – video
Explosions were heard in several Russian oblasts on the night of 28-29 July, with substations in villages of Belgorod and Oryol oblasts catching fire. The Russian Defence Ministry claimed in the morning that 39 drones were downed over five Russian oblasts.

Details: It was reported that drones attacked the village of Tomarovka in Belgorod Oblast after midnight, causing a substation to catch fire and resulting in power outages in the village.

Emotional videos from the village of Glazunovka in the southern Oryol Oblast were also published on social media. Residents captured footage of a drone flying overhead, followed by an explosion.

Governor Andrei Klychkov confirmed the attack, stating that the substation was damaged.
Quote from Klychkov: "Two enemy UAVs were downed in the Glazunovsky district overnight. There were no casualties, but there was damage to the local power station. Emergency services are addressing the consequences of the attack. Law enforcement agencies are working at the scene."
The Russian Defence Ministry claimed in the morning that air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 39 Ukrainian drones over Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Bryansk and Leningrad oblasts overnight.
The Russian Defence Ministry did not report any consequences of the attack.
