'487': London installation honours Ukrainian athletes killed in war with Russia – video
An installation at Parliament Square in London, supported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Sports Committee, was held to honour Ukrainian athletes who lost their lives in the ongoing war.
The centrepiece of the exhibit is a 3D display featuring the number 487, representing the estimated number of Ukrainian athletes who have lost their lives in the war as of early July 2024. Surrounding the display are various pieces of sports equipment associated with these athletes.

Background: Andrii Mazanovych, a master of sports and champion of Ukraine and Europe in powerlifting, was killed in combat on 20 July.
