Hololobov and Bolvinov said the Russian strike also injured two men who were employees of the eco-park. They were taken to hospital with multiple wounds and bruises.
"About a dozen horses were kept on the premises, and they were successfully evacuated. Currently, efforts are underway to find another resident of the zoo – a kangaroo that went missing after the explosion," noted Serhii Bolvinov.
Background:
- This is not the first time animals have suffered due to Russian aggression. In June, volunteers rescued 13 animals from the Kharkiv border area.
- Additionally, animal welfare volunteers have posted photographs showing the Russians displaying dead animals.
