Details: Residents of several residential estates took to the streets to protest, stating that electricity had been cut off daily, and on Saturday, there was no power for 24 hours straight.

The Russians are complaining about the heat and seek to draw the attention of the authorities.

The region's governor claimed that the blackout was caused by "abnormal heat and a huge load on the power grid" and that "the supply of electricity to the region depends on the operation of the Rostov nuclear power plant".

Russian law enforcers have reportedly detained at least two residents.
