Quote: "To check the situation in the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk and to clarify the circumstances of the recent losses among its personnel, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to send a comprehensive working group headed by the Chief of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the area of responsibility of the unit."

Details: Earlier, Kateryna "Ptashka" Polishchuk, a former prisoner of war and military paramedic from Azovstal steel plant, wrote on her Instagram account to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asking him to conduct an official inspection of the brigade commander Bohdan Shevchuk.

Quote from Polishchuk: "Since thousands of servicemen are continuing to carry out combat missions in the combat zone under Shevchuk's leadership, I ask you, Mr. Supreme Commander-in-Chief, to pay attention and conduct an official investigation into criminal orders, deliberate negligence, disregard for the lives and health of personnel, actions resulting in the deaths of numerous servicemen, including those in high leadership positions, self-interest, blind careerism, removal of all 'dissenting' commanders, suppression of fighting spirit, and humiliation of personnel with complete indifference to the primary goal of servicemen and your goal as a commander in the war against the enemy."

More details: The paramedic also stated that she had been forced to terminate cooperation with the brigade due to "inhumane and unprofessional treatment by Shevchuk."

She asked the president to take action and "remove those who are not interested in preserving personnel, accomplishing tasks, and achieving victory from making important military decisions."
