Regardless of what Moscow intends to do, the Office of the President of Ukraine states that they anticipate that many nations worldwide will support the implementation of each of the 10 components of the Peace Formula as a result of collective pressure on Russia.

Details: Zhovkva was questioned how Zelenskyy "is going to force Russia" to participate in the upcoming Peace Summit if the Russian Federation rejects this initiative, given that Moscow has already announced that it would not attend the second summit.

In response, the Ukrainian official stated that Kyiv intends to make use of and build on the results of the first summit, implying that this will happen regardless of Russia's reaction.

Quote: "We will continue this work, but not solely on these three issues (food, nuclear security, and the repatriation of hostages and deported children – ed.), because the peace formula includes ten points. We will develop a road map, a peace plan, that is consistent with particular elements of the formula (...), and on behalf of the global community, those nations that have communication channels with Russia will communicate these positions to Russia.

It will not only be Ukraine's voice, but also the voice of the global majority. There must be a collective pressure. Russia must cease using the language of ultimatums and unilateral requirements, and instead listen to the international community and the opinion of the majority," said Ihor Zhovkva.

Earlier, he stated that Ukraine plans to organise a second Peace Summit by the end of the year.

He also confirmed Ukraine's ambition to hold a second summit in one of the Global South countries, as previously expressed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
