Details: Andrii Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, reportedly perceives Svyrydenko as 100% loyal and a part of the team.
"Yermak is known to do only what the president tells him to do, so it is likely that the president also supports Svyrydenko's candidacy.
After all, she got into the government under the patronage of Yermak's team, having previously served as deputy head of the President's Office before being appointed Minister of Economy," the article says.
Moreover, Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska is believed to be a supporter of Svyrydenko. Svyrydenko accompanies the First Lady on every official foreign trip aboard a state plane, and they share a close relationship with common views on many issues.
Another factor in Svyrydenko's favour is her substantial track record of cooperation with key foreign donors. They regard her as transparent, and she hasn't been involved in any corruption cases.
Journalists found that only Svyrydenko's candidacy generally has received favourable reviews from Western partners.
Meanwhile, the article points out that many within the Ukrainian government and the ruling Servant of the People party do not consider Svyrydenko a serious contender.
