Ukraine's air defence down 14 of 20 Shahed drones over Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with missiles and Shahed-131/136 drones from the temporarily occupied Crimea and Russia’s Kursk Oblast on the night of 9-10 July.

Details: The Air Force reported that the Russians launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile and four Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles as well as 20 Shahed drones.

Ukraine’s air defenders managed to down 14 Shaheds over Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia and Rivne oblasts.
The Air Force also added that missiles had been fired on the port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast. Due to active countermeasures, three Kh-59/Kh-69 missiles and three drones did not reach their targets.
