Russia loses over 1,000 soldiers and 36 artillery systems over past 24 hours

Russian forces have lost 1,100 soldiers killed and wounded, as well as 2 tanks, 11 armoured combat vehicles and 36 artillery systems over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 10 July 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]: 

• approximately 554,510 (+1,100) military personnel;
• 8,180 (+2) tanks;
• 15,715 (+11) armoured combat vehicles;
• 15,051 (+36) artillery systems;
• 1,115 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 883 (+3) air defence systems;
• 361 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 326 (+0) helicopters;
• 11,973 (+51) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,389 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 20,269 (+57) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,531 (+15) special vehicles and other equipment.
