Industrial facility on fire in Kyiv Oblast due to Russian attack

A fire has broken out at an industrial facility in Kyiv Oblast as a result of an overnight air attack on Friday, 7 June.

Details: The aftermath of the fire is still being dealt with. All emergency services are actively working at the scene. There were no casualties. 

The Russians attacked the oblast with drones and missiles throughout the night. An air-raid warning was in effect for four hours, during which air defence forces were actively engaged.

Background: 

• Ukraine’s Air Force reported that four Russian strategic bombers took off late in the evening of 6 June. Shortly after the announcement, the military recorded likely launches of cruise missiles. 
• In addition, Russian forces launched several groups of attack drones from Ukraine’s south on the evening of 6 June.
